SERVING ALASKA AND CANADA;
We are no longing flying into Alaska or Canada due to American Airlines is the only one we use and they do not fly into those locations.
ALASKA:
We are no longing flying into Alaska or Canada due to American Airlines is the only one we use and they do not fly into those locations.
IF you want to purchase one of my puppies and you are located in Alaska or Canada this is the ONLY option:
You must fly into Tulsa OK airport on the airlines you choose to fly with on a Saturday and fly out on a Sunday. This will be your only option. NO OTHER DAY!
The puppy will fly with you in the CABIN NOT CARGO!! You will be responsible for the cost of flight back with your puppy in the cabin also you will need to purchase a soft crate.
The puppy WILL NOT BE PLACED in the OVER HEAD COMPARTMENT, it is ONLY to be placed under your seat or on your lap. If the airlines says anything else either you are trying to sneak this puppy on board or the airlines have no clue what you have in your bag. I, the breeder, will request to see your puppy SOFT crate before I hand you the puppy along with a feed and water bowl. I will also will request for you to show me you have already pre purchased the ticket to come back with you. NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS RULE…..NONE
IF you do not provide me a airline ticket for that flight for your puppy and a soft crate, leash and collar, food and water bowl the sale will be denied right on the spot. I will take back the puppy home and re sell it. NO REFUNDS for something like that. That is unacceptable!!
CANADA:
ATTENTION: With the boarder being closed at the moment…. NO SALES to any person from or living in Canada. Sorry but until we are back to allowing crossing I will not be able to sell to you. That is not my choice but our government doing.
We are no longing flying into Canada due to American Airlines is the only one we use and they have limited travel so the only option to receive one of my puppies is for you to fly into Tulsa Ok as stated above in the Alaska section, same rules applies to both. IF you do not provide me a airline ticket for that flight for your puppy and a soft crate, leash and collar, food and water bowl the sale will be denied right on the spot. I will take back the puppy home and re sell it. NO REFUNDS for something like that. That is unacceptable!!
For any questions about crossing into the Border from the USA with one of our puppies and you would like to know how much they will charge for import goods, please call this number 1-800-461-9999. I was provided this number by a website that handles crossing over from the USA into Canada. I personally do not have that information, it all depends on where you live for which tax they charge. Please do not ask me to write a lower price stating you only paid a certain amount for the puppy. That is fraud no matter how you look at it and I will not commit to fraud just to save you a few dollars. I know it’s only for the broader but it’s still fraud so please do not ask. If you asked for us to do this, I will deny you the sale of one of our babies and any funds you have already paid towards that puppy will be forfeited to Diann Kocher/Kocher’s Precious Puppies Kennels/KPPK LLC.
Here are the requirements for transporting a puppy by a car into the country. When transporting the puppy you will receive a bill of sale from Kocher’s Precious Puppies Kennels/Diann Kocher/KPPK LLC. You the buyer will be responsible for any cost entering your country. There is a tax when entering your country so before you purchase one of our babies please research the percentage for taxes. This is your responsibility and not Kocher’s Precious Puppies Kennels/Diann Kocher/KPPK LLC. What you will receive from me is a bill of sale, health certificate that is ONLY GOOD FOR 72 HOURS, if you picking up a puppy in the states please remember this is only good for 72 hours. My puppies are NOT allowed to become Breeders so if that is your intentions please do NOT purchase one of my puppies. Kocher’s Precious Puppies Kennels/Diann Kocher/KPPK LLC, will not be held responsible if there is any additional cost in your country for a breeder. Kocher’s Precious Puppies Kennels/Diann Kocher/KPPK LLC, will not be held responsible if you get to your border and your puppy does not pass their inspection or your health inspection had expired. Our puppies have to pass our vet’s inspection but your country may do things differently. Please check with all your customs before even putting a deposit on your puppy. Kocher’s Precious Puppies Kennels/Diann Kocher/KPPK LLC, will not be held responsible for any extra cost that may arise during this process into your country. Canada does not require that your pet be identified with a pet microchip, but it is recommended that you microchip your pet with a 15 digit ISO 11784 compliant microchip and register your contact information prior to traveling as a means of identification should your pet be lost or separated from you. Either I or my vet will be implanting the microchip in your puppy, but it is your responsibility to pay to have this chip to be activated. This information about the microchip was found on a Canadian website.
Entering Canada with puppies under three (3) months of age:
Dogs and cats under three (3) months of age are exempt from import requirements unless they are traveling unaccompanied and a change of ownership is involved.
Dogs (1-2) under 8 months traveling to Canada from any country: Due to the problems with puppy mills and the movement of puppies, Canada is very sensitive to dogs entering the country under eight (8) months of age and will assume that, if you, as the owner of your dog, are not traveling with your dog or its papers are not in your name, it will most likely be considered a commercial shipment by customs and be subject to a microchip, health certificate issued within 36 hours of entry, and an Import Permit. One exception to this requirement involves puppies traveling from the United States entering Canada for competitions. In addition to the requirements above, the person responsible for the pet must also show proof of entry into a competition. If this proof is unavailable, then the owner must obtain an Import Permit issued from the CFIA office in the province in Canada to which they are traveling.
Blood Titer Test:
A blood titer test is not required to enter Canada from any country.
Puppies and Kittens:
Pets can enter Canada at international airports in many CITES including but not limited to Vancouver, Calgary, Ontario, Quebec and Montreal. All domestic dogs and cats must be free of evidence of disease communicable to humans when examined at the port of entry. If your pet is not in apparent good health, further examination by a licensed veterinarian may be required at the owner’s expense.
Vaccinations:
Dogs over 8 months of age and cats over 3 months of age entering Canada from countries Canada considers as rabies free. Your dog or cat will need either proof of current rabies vaccination OR a health certificate in English or French and completed by a licensed veterinarian. The certificate must clearly identify your pet(s) and a governmental authority must state that rabies has not existed in the originating country for the six (6) month period immediately preceding the shipment of your pet; and, your pet has been in that country for the six (6) month period or since birth. A licensed veterinarian in your country can also do this as long as it is endorsed by a governmental authority responsible for the import and export of pets.
Health Certificate:
See rabies vaccination requirements above. If a health certificate is required, it must be in English or French and completed by a licensed veterinarian. It should identify the animal, the dates of vaccination, the manufacturer and the expiration date of the rabies vaccine. The Canada does accept 3 year rabies vaccinations. Import permits will be required for puppies entering Canada unaccompanied.
You the new owner will be responsible for the total cost for the flight for you to fly here and for you and your new puppy to fly back on.
You may message me on Facebook. The information I received was from Canada Pet Passport. We are not responsible if Canada changes their requirements and here at Kocher’s Precious Puppies Kennels were not aware of their changes. It is your responsibility to be fully aware of what it takes to get a puppy into Canada. We hope we can make your dream come true in owning a CORGI!!
Whether you are from Alaska or Canada, it will be your responsibility to meet your puppy at the airport and for you as new owner’s to pay for any expense back to your home whether it is by your vehicle or another plane ride. Kocher’s Precious Puppies Kennels/KPPK LLC/Diann Kocher is not responsible for this debt or cost.
Thank you,
Diann
